Bring a timeless piece of the outdoors into your home or office
Welcome to my website. I am Sally Edwards, a passionate landscape, seascape and wildlife photographer from Ferntree Gully in Melbourne.

About me
I am a passionate photographer who thrives in capturing the beauty of the Australian landscape, flora and fauna. Whether it is shooting long exposures of moving water or patiently waiting for that perfect moment with wildlife… I find joy in the small details and the incredible stories nature tells. Through my work I aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for all things nature in order to promote an increased protection of our environment, our land and our oceans.
I am excited to share my passion for photography with you by offering the opportunity to bring a piece of nature into your home or office. Custom fine art & premium canvas prints available to order. Contact me for prices.

Some recent work

Mornington Peninsula Beaches & Jetty's
A few times a year, especially in winter, I visit this amazing area to capture sunrises, sunsets and even Auroras. One of my favourite spots for low tide photography is no. 16 Beach, when the popular icon, ’Dragon’s Head’, is in full view. Check out the beautiful jetty’s with silky smooth waters at Shelley Beach (Portsea), the piers and beaches and gorgeous colours. Keep checking my gallery for more inclusions soon.

K'Gari (formally known as Fraser Island)
On a recent photographic expedition to K’gari I encountered amazing landscapes, sand drifts and wildlife. The stunning light supplied perfect conditions for photography. Check out my gallery to see some amazing pink & orange sunrise skies over Lake Boomanjin, almost fluorescent greens that border Eli Creek, and turquoise blue waters surrounding the famous SS Maheno Shipwreck…

Wilsons Promontory National Park
A couple of visits to this amazing national park were enough to get a taste of what this place has to offer. Up close encounters with emus, wallabies, kangaroos and a lone wombat. Please check out my gallery and get a taste of what Wilsons Promontory NP has to offer. Colourful sunrises, sunsets, beaches, gorgeous birds and wildlife, massive rocks, stunning grass trees and so much more…
More visits are planned so keep an eye on this gallery!

Bird Photography
Only recently I added bird photography to my preferred subjects. Capturing birds requires a lot of time, patience, skills and… a bigger lens! The 200-800mm lens investment is just what I needed, especially for those birds that are elusive and skittish. This recent passion means that my collection of different species is growing rapidly. You can find me in local reserves, wetlands and hiking trails across the state to get those special birds on my wish list.
Keep checking my bird gallery for more inclusions soon!
Can you find your favourite bird in my current gallery?
